e90 vs F30 interior

Am I crazing for liking the e90 interior more than the f30? I just can't stand the ipad screen sticking out from the dash like that. The 2nd hump housing the screen in the e90 dashboard looks a lot more sophisticated to me.

why did they abbreviate the chome going across the dash? the e46 had it right by extending it across and curving it inwards

Well it's like the E46 base interior vs the M3

do you have a non-desired silver / beige interior that's non-sport?

or is it a sport package or M with something like black, red, or individual?

Same with the base E39, terrible terrible terrible interior - but the M5 is absolutely phenomenal.

I don't like the f30 at all, inside or out. I think BMW made them too big, I guess the 1 series is suppose to be their "little" car now. The f30 looks as big as the older 5 series.

The e90 interior is plain boring. You're comparing an e92 M3 interior to a 335 interior.

I'd rather you compare 328 interiors.

It had to be done. Look what the BMW e90/e92 was competing with. I'm not one to say much about Audi's, but Audi had them beat. I've spent a good amount of time as a lot porter for a BMW dealer and a joined Audi dealer and although I didn't like the button layout of the Audi's, their dashboard was definitely nicer.

you have to see them in person. the f30 interior looks and feels more high quality than that of the e90. pictures just doesn't really do it justice. also, i believe the dash/center console in the f30 is driver-centric, much like the older bimmers. that's why it's not symmetrical like the e90.

Well I get that. But that's not how the majority of them are.

For the sake of the argument in this thread, I think it would be best to keep the interior debate between the base models that are mostly on the road. Not the M3's or 335's with their upgraded trims, leather, NAV etc.

Most e90's on the road are 328's with black or tan leatherette with no nav & wood trim.

I love the way BMW has a layered look to their dashboard instead on most other cars that just looks like one big mould... The design aesthetic of the dash on the BMW is far superior to the Audis.

for starter, the e92 m3 has a nicer and thicker steering wheel that really makes the interior look sharper and sportier. also, the leather/carbon trim in the m3 is just pimp. the regular e90/e92 interior is nowhere near as sharp, even if you get the aluminum trim and manual tranny.

Driving a e90 is weird your too close to the front window. The top of the dash is too short. The front window is legit on your face...

I prefer the e30 interior over the e90. lol.
