What to do when you're waiting

So I ordered my 335i end of Sept. The order went in Oct 3, started production in Rosslyn on Oct 5, finished production Oct 15 and is now sitting around somewhere between the plant and the port (do they leave from Port Elizabeth or Durban?) waiting to get on a boat.

I've been trolling the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site and it looks like I'm waiting on the Asian Vision to pick up my car (on Halloween) and steam up to Bremerhaven. Best case scenario then, it'll be moved to the Turandot on 11/21 then float across the Atlantic to Brunswick GA on 12/10. So maybe I'll get it by Christmas...

I've already read the manual cover to cover, watched every F30 review on youtube I could find, read most of the posts here (very informative - I like what some of you guys have done with your cars), book-marked a few mods I'm thinking about, researched membership to my local(-ish) motorsport country club track (Cresson Motorsport Ranch), joined the bmwcca, mapped out routes in north texas that I want to go drive on google maps and book-marked them...

Needless to say my wife thinks I'm crazy - even my friends are getting sick of hearing about the F30

Anybody else waiting? How are you filling your time?

The wait is killer! Nothing much to do, when the Project 328i was on order I tried to not thinking about it for a couple days at a time so I didn't drive myself and others crazy

I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone. At least yours is built. I didn't even get my production number yet. Hoping to get it tomorrow. Got my finger crossed. Enjoy your car!
