Photo Comparison: Spied 4 Series GC vs. 3 Series Sedan

This is an interesting comparison here, the 4 Series GC and the 3 Series.

4gc3

From the front, these two look pretty close. Just the regular 3-4 differences; grill, lower bumper and a wider, lower profile. You can see a more sloping roof line in the rear, starting just ahead of the camo, down to the rear deck. You can also see the flare in the rear fenders. Nothing crazy going on.

4gc3

The rear angle really shows what I think is the main difference, the sloping rear roof line into the rear deck area. I wonder how the head room is in the back seats?

4gc3

An even better view of the difference in the rear quarter. The nose looks a bit longer on the 4 GC, but that may just be the angle of the pic.

All in all, BMW looks to have turned the 4 Series Coupe into a 3 Series Sedan, with maybe less head room. That's just what I see. Maybe when the camo is all gone, a different machine will be revealed. What are your thoughts on the looks of the 4 GC?

Dont understand the point. Really not a fan of this whole 4 series bullshit... Definitely nice cars but they should still be 3 series coupes IMO

Bernie I have to agree with ya. Looks the GC 4 looks basically like a 3 to me (at least with the camo on).
